Daily Cryptocurrency Tracker 21.5.19: Cryptos show correction

After showing gains to start the week, the cryptocurrency market was seen lower over the past 24 hours, as all top 10 cryptos registered losses. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was down around 1%, drifting away from the $8,000 mark. Despite the recent losses the market is positive for the week, as 7 of the top 10 cryptos are in the green for the past 7 days.

NEO rises 4%

Only 2 of the top 20 cryptocurrencies registered gains over the past 24 hours as of the time of writing. Of the 2 cryptos to register gains, NEO showed the larger uptick, up by 4%. NEO is now reached its highest levels in a month, and is also in the green over the past 7 days, climbing more than 15%.

Blockchain-based stock exchange to list first company

SprinkleXchange, a Bahrain-based blockchain stock exchange will be listing its first company next month. According to Bloomberg, the company is aiming to recruit companies with market caps ranging between $20 million and $200 million, and plans on listing 35 companies over the next 12 months. In an interview published on Bloomberg last Friday, Sprinkle Group CEO Alexander Wallin said “We have the luxury of being first with this, but we’re aware that it will become a crowded market.”
