Daily Cryptocurrency Tracker 28.2.19: Lower volatility in crypto markets

The cryptocurrency market showed relatively lower volatility over the past 24 hours, as 5 of the top 10 cryptos registered price movements of 1% or lower. At the time of writing, Bitcoin showed little change for the past 24 hours, trading nearly flat and holding above the $3,800 mark.

BNB leads top 10

Despite no top 10 crypto registering significant price movements, BNB was still ahead of the pack, climbing around 1.4% as of the time of writing. Currently ranked 10th overall by market cap, BNB was affected by the major dip in markets last Sunday, and has yet to erase the losses suffered. Over the past week, the crypto has lost more than 4% of its value.

Wozniak speaks in favor of Bitcoin

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, a known supporter of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, went on record talking in favor of Bitcoin once again. In an interview to Bloomberg, Wozniak was asked about the recent devaluation of the world’s largest crypto, to which he replied: “I’m not sure I can buy that we’ve seen massive value destruction, I think we’ve seen massive value creation.” When asked why he sold his Bitcoin, Wozniak said: “I don’t want to be one of those people watching the price of Bitcoin, so I sold out.”
