Daily Cryptocurrency Tracker 6.3.19: Cryptos rally to recover $5 billion

The cryptocurrency market rallied over the past 24 hours, as all top 20 cryptos were in the green, including two top 10 cryptos registering double digit gains. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was up more than 3%, closing in on the $3,900 mark and erasing all of the losses seen over the past 7 days. The combined market cap for all cryptos, which dipped to $125 billion on Monday, has now fully recovered, reaching above $131 billion.

EOS leads top 10

Of the top 10 cryptos, it was EOS, currently ranked 4th overall by market cap, to register the largest gains. Over the past 24 hours, the crypto climbed around 14%, to reach price levels not seen in 10 days. EOS is now higher for the week, climbing more than 7% over the past 7 days.

French retail giant uses blockchain for milk tracking

Blockchain continues to prove its value in retail, as French retail giant Carrefour has announced it is now using it to track milk supply chains. According to a press release from the company, it will be rolling out its blockchain product, Carrefour Quality Line (CQL) this month, enabling complete transparency over the milk supply chain. This is not Carrefour’s first use of CQL, as in November of last year, it used the system for tracking the supply of free range chickens.
