Cryptos show noticeable losses as correction continues
The cryptocurrency market remained on its negative trajectory over the past 24 hours, as the majority of cryptos showed a correction. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was down more than 3.5%, hovering around the $5,000 mark. 7 other top 10 cryptos registered losses of 4% or more, led by Litecoin, which was down around 9%.
Today’s highlights: Wall Street awaits earnings reports
- Wall Street closes nearly flat: The earnings season gets into high gear as the first big banks, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, will share their reports today. In anticipation of the earnings season, investors were hesitant yesterday, resulting in the DJ30, SPX500 and NSDQ100 all registering small price movements. Despite the muted session, several stocks reached fresh all-time highs, including Microsoft and Starbucks.
