Wall Street climbs ahead of Fed rate decision
US markets finished higher yesterday, as the DJ30 and SPX500 each closed more than 1.3% higher, while the NSDQ100 climbed nearly 1%. The recent gains are attributed to renewed hopes of a US-China trade deal next week at the G-20 summit, and the possibility of the Fed easing its monetary policy when it announces rates today at 18:00 GMT. The announcement will be followed by a press conference with Fed Chair Jerome Powell at 18:30 GMT.
